Ready, Set, Sew...add a Twist of Lime

We laid all the blocks on the floor to rearrange the colors, using the wall would have been more tedious because it would require going up and down the step ladder too many times.

Here's the challenge, for each X shown below, all 8 fabrics have to be different.

 In addition to that, for every set of "spokes", there must also be 8 different fabrics. Mission accomplished!

 The blocks were sewed together in rows.
A twist of lime was added for the inner border.

That looks amazing! How long did it take to puzzle out the fabrics? That was my toughest dilemma with my "love" quilt

I love it! It's gorgeous! Are there a lot of seams in the center to contend with?

It really only took about an hour to "puzzle" out the fabric, I believe because of how I initially planned the fabric placement on each block that made this step rather easy.

Regarding the seams in the center, for each spoke intersection the seams were pressed open, whereas the X block seams were pressed alternating so it nestled when the rows were sewed.
