The
Philly Modern Quilt Guild had a challenge using a charm pack of Kona Solids, adding as much print fabric we wanted to, but no additional solids were to be used. I missed the meeting, so here's my project. I found the outer border fabric on my recent trip to Charleston, using it as my inspiration in the overall design of my quilt.
The Fabric is from Blank Quilting, #4225 Brite Candy Corner.
The center was designed using
EQ, and the rest on paper. My solids are appliqued circles that "float" around the compass rose.
