Quilting UFO

I spent the majority of today quilting my "Unusual Lone Star"...it's looking pretty good. I used a 12 wt. cotton black thread, red and a gold metallic so far...

The first picture is the back, the second is part of the front.Just as I was completing the star portion, my machine just stopped...I'm not sure if it's the motor or mechanical, guess I'll be stopping by my Bernina dealer tomorrow!

Did you quilt it from the back, or were you brave and used metalics in the top spool?

I quilted this from the front with the metalic thread on the top with no problems. I used Superior metalic thread using a 90/14 topstitch needle and reduced the tension on my Bernina to 1.
