Quilted Panel & Baby Quilts

A while ago, when my sister Karen and I were cleaning out our Mom's "craft room", we came across this printed Christmas panel, well Karen just loved it. I brought it home and finally got around to quilting it for her. I'm pretty sure she doesn't read my blog, she will be pleasantly surprised when it arrives with the baby quilt for her grandson Zander.

Pretty in Pink, for LGC, my son Luke asked me to make this baby quilt for his good friend and former college roommate Gabe and his wife. Their baby girl was born in September.

Computer Bag

My bag is an original design specifically for a mega 17.3 inch Dell laptop computer. It features a drop in pocket large enough for file folders or a 3 ring binder. It is pipped in the coordinating interior fabric, has a removable, adjustable shoulder strap.

Wake Me Up When September Ends Again

 

September 2012 has not been good.  Early in the month I had mt gallbladder removed, after 5 months of discomfort. 2 weeks after my surgery, I was rear-ended, as I was stopped, waiting to turn left. Luckily no injuries in this accident! He never braked, I figured he was traveling at least 45mph, (speed limit on that road) We are still waiting to hear if the collision shop will fix it or total it.  Did I mention my Mom passed away 4 years ago this September?
